How is this different from Band-Aid Hydro Seal or Compeed?
Hydro Seal and Compeed are flat patches designed for flat skin — they peel off toes within a few hours because a toe isn't a flat surface. Pinkies are shaped specifically for toes: one continuous piece of hydrocolloid with an oval pad that sits over the blister zone and a stem that wraps around the toe and seals back onto itself. No edges to catch, no peeling, no reapplying mid-dinner. It's the difference between a bandage and a purpose-built toe wrap.
Will it stick to sweaty feet?
Yes. Pinkies use medical-grade hydrocolloid adhesive — the same material hospitals use on moist wounds — which actually bonds better with a little skin moisture. For best results, apply to clean, dry skin before you put your shoes on. Once it's on, sweat, heat, and friction won't budge it.
What if I have sensitive skin?
Hydrocolloid is latex-free, hypoallergenic, and one of the gentlest adhesives used on skin — it's what's inside most acne patches and post-surgical dressings. How do I apply it?
Clean, dry skin. Peel the backing. Place the oval over the sore spot. Wrap the stem around the toe and press it down onto the oval to seal. 30 seconds, done. There's a step-by-step on every pack.
Will it hurt coming off?
No. Hydrocolloid loosens on its own as it absorbs moisture — when it's ready to come off, it lifts easily. If you want to remove it early, soak the toe in warm water for a minute first.
