A blister. A raw pinkie toe. It sounds small — until it isn't. Until it turns a dream vacation into disappointment, a long workday into real pain, and a wedding night into the moment she finally takes her shoes off early.

We know, because it happened to us. My wife of 25 years loves her shoes — always has. But over time, she started making compromises. Where she could wear them. How long she'd last. Which ones had to stay home.

I kept asking: are bandages really the only answer?

The Origin

Two raw toes. One idea.

It was a combination of moments. My wife came home from an event — her favorite heels, a blister she'd been ignoring for hours. Around the same time, I spent a full day walking a conference and came back with two raw pinkie toes.

We looked at each other. We looked at the bandages that never quite stayed on, never quite covered the right spot, and always came off at the worst moment.

That was the beginning of Pinkies. Not a startup idea — a personal necessity that turned into something we knew other women needed too.

The Solution

One wrap. No compromises.

We spent time figuring out why nothing on the market worked. Bandages slip. Moleskin bunches. Gel pads shift. The problem wasn't pain management — it was engineering. A toe is round. It moves. The solution had to move with it.
